Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou says he was excited to work with one of Daniel Levy's signings from the outset, and now that they are working together, he has seen him take his game to the next level - dominating proceedings with a terrific display in last weekend’s shock 4-0 win away to Man City.
One of the standout players this season has been Dejan Kulusevski, who continues to excel whether played through the middle or out wide with a tactical tweak. His influence this season, especially when others have struggled under the weight of heightened expectations, has earned praise from his manager.

Postecoglou said: “I was extremely excited. I had seen, as you said, his trajectory as a player. He had already made an impact. I think the club had only signed him on loan with an option to buy when I got here, and I was pretty keen to make sure that happened.
“You don’t really know until you work with a player and understand him better. As Dan was just saying, he has this real laser focus on how good he can be, and for any manager, that’s what you want to see in players — somebody who is not going to settle for whatever level they’re at.”
Spurs have shown incredible inconsistency this season, performing well against teams high up in the Premier League, as evidenced by their wins over Manchester City, Aston Villa, and Manchester United.

With that in mind, the weekend’s match against Fulham will be crucial if they want to build momentum and end the year on a high.
