Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has been handed another injury blow with the news that forward Manor Solomon has picked up an injury in training and is set for some time on the treatment table.

According to a report on the Football. London, the extent of the injury is not yet known even though manager Ange Postecoglou is expected to speak on the latest blow on Friday during his press conference.

The injury to the Israeli forward adds to that of summer signing Brennan Johnson who missed the controversial win against Liverpool due to an injury even though his manager admitted it wasn't anything serious.

He told reporters ahead of the game against Liverpool: “From last week, Brennan will miss out - it’s nothing too serious but he won’t be right for this week. Madders and Sonny trained today, just finished the session and seemed to get through it not too bad. We’ll just have to see how they pull up as it’s fair to say they were a bit sore after last week and had a bit of an interrupted week of training so it's just a matter of seeing how they pull up.”

There is some good news though with Bryan Gil who has had surgery due to an injury picked up in pre-season back in training and could be one of the players who benefits from the absence of the hard-working Solomon.

Tottenham’s start to the league season has been spectacular and they could head into the international break top of the league if they can win against Luton and other results elsewhere go their way.
