Tottenham Hotspur strikers Les Ferdinand, Jermain Defoe and Sol Campbell have been shortlisted for the Premier League Hall of Fame.

As it stands, there are 21 figures in the illustrious list, established three years ago. Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry were the inaugural inductees and have since been joined by the likes of Roy Keane, Steven Gerrard and David Beckham.

Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger became the first managers to make the cut at last year’s ceremony. They entered alongside Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand, Chelsea hero Petr Cech and ex-Arsenal leader Tony Adams.

Remarkably, no Tottenham players have been inducted into the Hall of Fame since its inception. The Red Devils have had eight former figures commemorated - more than any other club.

But Spurs could see their first player named in the Hall of Fame when voting, which you can do here, closes next month. Ferdinand and Defoe scored a combined 182 goals in 511 appearances for Tottenham throughout the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s.

Defoe was also part of the Tottenham squad that won the 2008 League Cup final against Chelsea. Campbell, a controversial figure in the white half of North London, has also been nominated, although likely due to his achievements at Arsenal.

The trio are competing against Michael Carrick, Andy Cole, Cesc Fabregas, Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler, Eden Hazard, Gary Neville, John Terry, Yaya Toure, Edwin van der Sar and Nemanja Vidic. Ashley Cole was admitted into the Hall of Fame to open the 2024 awards.
