Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly still interested in Everton winger Anthony Gordon. The attacker was on their radar in the last summer transfer window but ended up staying put beyond the deadline.

Football London claim Antonio Conte’s side ‘continue’ to monitor his progress at Goodison Park. Chelsea are also believed to be keen as well.

Gordon, 21, broke into Everton’s team last season and has established himself as one of their most prized assets now. He is under contract with the Merseyside outfit until June 2025 meaning Frank Lampard is under no pressure to cash in on him unless the price is right.

He has risen up through the academy at Finch Farm and has been a regular at various youth levels over recent years. The England U21 international was given the green light to head out on loan to Preston North End during the 2020/21 season to get some experience under his belt.

Since his return from Deepdale, Gordon has enjoyed plenty of game time and has made 75 appearances in all competitions to date now, chipping in with seven goals. Everton could face a battle to keep hold of him in the future though with Spurs still apparently eyeing a swoop.

They are currently 4th in the Premier League table and are three points ahead of 5th place Manchester United. Conte’s men beat Leeds United 4-3 last time out.
