'Outstanding' Tottenham star will miss Europa League game as Ange Postecoglou sends out warning

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou confirmed his team news ahead of the game against Qarabag, revealing that Cristian Romero is among three players who will miss the match due to injury.
Romero, who has been sensational for Spurs and was described as "outstanding" by Postecoglou last season, will no doubt be a blow to the Lilywhites, who have had a mixed start to the season.

“Nothing else from the weekend in terms of injuries. Everyone has pulled up really well, there are no issues there. Obviously, apart from the injuries, the obvious absences are Romero, Spence, and Reguilon, who trained today but for different reasons are ineligible.”
Reguilon hasn’t played for Spurs this season, and Djed Spence is a backup defender, so Postecoglou's biggest worry will be the absence of Romero, a player he said he wished more of his team could emulate from last season. Postecoglou added:
"He was outstanding. He's a World Cup winner, and I've just got to get some of what's in him into some of the others."

They face a tough fixture list in the Europa League. After hosting the Azerbaijani champions, Qarabag, they will face strong sides like Galatasaray, Roma, and Rangers in what looks like a tricky draw.
One thing the Spurs manager warned his rivals was that he always wins something in his second season, and he will be looking to back that up. The Liklywhites manager said after the defeat to Arsenal: "I always win things in my second year"
