Tottenham Hotspur are ‘admirers’ of Premier League ace and ex-player in talks over new move

Tottenham Hotspur have made an impressive start to the new Premier League.

Antonio Conte’s side are yet to lose in the league so far.

Next up for them is the North London derby against Arsenal next weekend.

Former player in talks with new club

Former Tottenham defender Danny Rose is in discussions over a move to Wigan Athletic.

The left-back is available after leaving Watford at the start of this month.

As reported by The Sun, he is now in ‘talks’ with the Latics.

Maddison latest

Leicester City star James Maddison is a player who has been linked with Spurs for a while now.

The attacking midfielder has been a hit with the Foxes over recent seasons.

Reporter Pete O’Rourke has told GiveMeSport that Conte’s side are ‘long-term admirers’ of him:

“Despite Leicester’s problems this season, I think Maddison’s probably been their standout performer so far.

“He got a good goal against Tottenham and probably looked their liveliest player in that defeat as well.

“Tottenham are long-term admirers of Maddison and they have liked him for a while now.”

Youngster on radar

Spurs are being linked with a move for Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick.

Manchester United and Newcastle United have also been linked with the promising youngster, as have European giants Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

The Sun have reported on the story (via journalist Jorge Nicola) and Endrick is a name to keep an eye out for over the coming months.
