Tottenham are expected to name Ange Postecoglou as their new manager in the coming days and the treble-winning manager is also expected to come along with three of his trusted lieutenants for his successful spell in Scotland.

As with most managers at this level, the 57-year-old is expected to arrive in north London with some of the backroom staff that helped make him such a massive success with Scottish giants Celtic.

Ange Postecoglou is renowned for his exciting football and most Spurs fans will love to see him bring that kind of football to north London.

The incoming Tottenham boss wants to take assistant boss John Kennedy who was already in position before the appointment of Postecoglou. He also wants to bring first-team coach Gavin Strachan to come along to north London as well as highly respected video analyst Greg Wallace.

In the past Postecoglou has been happy to move to clubs without having to take along his backroom staff but the nature of the Tottenham job means he’s looking to give himself the best start and want to come along with some of the people he created a good working relationship in Glasgow.

Spurs are looking to rebuild after a campaign that promised a lot ended flatly without any kind of European football for the first time since 2010. He is likely to start work before finding out who the club’s new football director will be after Fabio Paratici’s ban on Italian football was extended globally.
