Harry Kane remains in the thick of a possible move to Bayern Munich as Tottenham and Daniel Levy continue to ponder.

Harry Kane’s future remains firmly in the air as the new season approaches.

The Tottenham striker has dominated headlines all summer amid transfer interest from a number of clubs. Manchester United were initially said to be the main contender to sign Kane, but Bayern Munich have since taken centre stage due to Spurs’ reluctance to sell their star frontman to a Premier League rival.

Daniel Levy seemingly remains likely to strike a deal, even with Bayern, and that shouldn’t come as a surprise given Tottenham’s reliance on Kane’s goals over recent years. But now 30 years of age, Kane wants to experience the feeling of winning silverware, and Tottenham don’t look close to being able to offer such experiences. With all that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest on Kane’s future.

Bayern’s stance

Bayern are already said to have made their final proposal to Tottenham for Kane, offering more than €100m (£86million) including add-ons.

Bayern reportedly set a deadline for Tottenham to respond, but that deadline has come and gone, with Levy still playing hardball despite meeting with the German club’s bossess recently. According to Sky Sports, Bayern’s chiefs will now hold a meeting on Monday to discuss the Kane situation.

Bayern wanted a quick resolution before moving on to other targets, and the club’s bosses will nw assess their next move after failing to get a response. Kane is said to want a resolution to his future this week, before the season starts, with his wife due to give birth in the coming weeks.

Bayern find a house

Bayern are said to have found a house for Kane, according to The Mirror.

It’s claimed Bayern are still confident of landing a deal, and they have already identified a place for the English star to live. It’s reported that the proposed property is a neighbourhood of millionaires in the outskirts of Munich.

The move could be a tactic from Bayern to try to convince Kane to move, and it’s perfect timing to offer the dream home given Mrs Kane is expecting.

Agent Kulusevski

One of Kane’s teammates in Dejan Kulusevski says he is doing his bit to convince Kane to stay at Tottenham.

“He scored four goals, so very good,” Kulusevski said over the weekend. “Nah, he’s unbelievable. Honestly, his mentality, I can learn from him like everybody. He just goes out and performs day in day out.

“He’s a true professional. I’m happy I helped him score today but of course we want him to stay and we’ll do everything to make him stay.”
