'Several approaches' - Fabrizio Romano says Tottenham have another player considering exit amid interest
One Tottenham star is reportedly considering an exit amid increasing interest in his services.
Tottenham have another big decision to make on one of their players this month, with a player reportedly wanting out, or at least for now. It has been another frustrating season for Spurs, who find themselves locked in the bottom half of the table and out of both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.

Thomas Frank got off to a good start following his summer appointment, but he now finds himself under serious pressure to start the year, needing to turn things around and quickly.
But the Dane has already been hamstrung by the loss of Mohammed Kudus to a medium-term injury, the winger having been ruled out until April, while Richarlison also looks to be out having picked up a hamstring problem over the weekend.
Elsewhere, Dejan Kulusevski is still out and weeks away from returning, and Brennan Johnson was sold earlier in the month in a decision that now looks to have been hasty to say the least.
New signings are likely, but they are not forthcoming, and to make matters worse, another attacker is now said to be pushing for an exit. Mathys Tel, whose loan deal from Bayern Munich was made permanent at the end of last season, has made 19 appearances across all competitions, but with only five Premier League starts and having been left out of the Champions League squad for the first half of the season, the winger is said to be considering an exit.
Fabrizio Romano posted on X: “Understand Paris FC are among clubs keen on signing Mathys Tel on loan this month, several approaches already. Tottenham insist they want Tel to stay, Mathys wants to play regularly as dreams of World Cup call.”
A world Cup spot does seem like a bold aim for the 19-year-old, given the competition in the France squad, but it is logical that impressing in France will make it easier to impress national team bosses between now and the summer.
Though, Paris FC are just four points off the relegation spots, and impressing with that particular club may be easier said than done. As for Spurs, if they do want the winger to stay as suggested in the report, Frank may actually be able to promise Tel more regular football going forward, given the injuries and the Johnson departure.
A new arrival could complicate things, but even with a new arrival, Tottenham won’t have a wealth of options between now and Easter time given the injuries they have. That could allow Tottenham to promise Tel the game time he wants, and he may well consider sticking around as a result.
