Tottenham have shifted their priorities as they look to build on their fine window so far.

Spurs have not held back in the summer transfer window, already snapping up six new players, with Richarlison, Yves Bissouma, Djed Spence, Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster and Clement Lenglet all snapped up.

That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who told the Wondergoal Podcast: “For Tottenham, they have had a fantastic summer in my personal opinion. They changed the strategy of the club.”

“We are always used to seeing Tottenham not spending a lot of money or spending just at the end of the window. In this case, they already signed six players.”

He added: “At the moment, they’re really happy with the squad they have.

“They need to sell players, (Giovanni) Lo Celso, (Tanguy) Ndombele, and find a solution for Sergio Reguilón, who in my opinion is a very good opportunity because he is a very good left back available to the market. Also other players like (Harry) Winks.”

“So they’re looking for solutions for these players.”

Lo Celso spent the second half of last season on loan at Villarreal, and the Yellows could move to sign him permanently, but they would need to offload fringe players first.

Reguilon is a pretty recent arrival, and it’s thought he could leave on loan, with Tottenham not likely to want to lose any money at this stage.

One of Reguillon’s former loan clubs from before his time at Tottenham in Sevilla are reportedly interested.

Ndombele could attract more interest from abroad after his loan spell with Lyon last season, while Harry Winks is said to have a number of interested parties in the Premier League.

Everton and Newcastle United have both been linked this summer.

Tottenham have plenty of time to offload bodies, with more than a month remaining in the transfer window, and especially given they are not in a rush to add to their squad.
