Bad news as Colombian centre-back Yerry Mina has suffered a setback and will not be involved against Tottenham.

The defender has not played since picking up an injury against Chelsea on the opening day of the season and even though there had been hopes that he would have recovered by now, Lampard confirmed the former Barcelona defender has had a complications along the way.

He said: “Abdoulaye Doucoure, who was not included against Manchester United had a family issue but he’s back in the squad for tomorrow.

“ Yerry had a little bit of a setback this week (small calf injury), so he won’t be available.”

Dominic Calvert-Lewin who only made his return to the pitch for the first time in a while against Manchester United, is also likely to get more minutes. But they still have to manage his time carefully to get him back firing on all cylinders.

Tottenham have injury issues with Dejan Kulusevski, who is not involved for the Antonio Conte side against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Spurs though have shown intensity and character to bag two wins from their last two games after the defeat to Arsenal and will be looking for the third straight win in all competitions when they take on Frank Lamparad’s side this weekend.
