Bayern Munich boss responds to Harry Kane talk as Tottenham eye pricey defender

Tottenham are now moving into the final stages of their pre-season.

Spurs have been on tour in Asia this summer, but they are now back on British soil, where they will take on Rangers on Saturday.

After that, Antonio Conte’s men will take on Roma at home next week in their final outing before the start of the Premier League season.

Kane to Bayern latest

Bayern Munich are in need of a new superstar striker this summer after losing Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona.

And there has been talk of them making a move for Spurs frontman Harry Kane.

Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann was asked about the possibility of signing Kane, and he responded: “He’s very expensive, that’s the problem.

“He could score a lot in the Bundesliga. I don’t know the price, but it’s really tough for Bayern Munich. We’ll see what happens in the future.”

Skriniar links

Tottenham have been linked with a move for Inter Milan star Milan Skriniar.

Skriniar has been linked with Spurs in the past, with Conte a former Inter boss, and Il Messaggero say the Italian could seek a reunion with the defender.

PSG are also said to be interested in Skriniar this summer, with Inter vakuing the Slovakian at £55millon.

Zalewski talk

Tottenham are said to be eyeing a move for Roma youngster Nicola Zalewski.

According to Calcio Mercato via SportsWitness, Conte is ‘crazy’ about Zalewski, who is a 20-year-old midfielder.

Spurs and PSG are said to be tracking the youngster ahead of a possible move, while Sampdoria and Caglari are said to be weighing up loan deals.
