Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak is thought to be open to a move to the Premier League, according to 90 min.

The 29-year-old has recently attracted the interest of Tottenham Hotspur, with reports claiming that Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici had held discussions regarding Hugo Lloris’ successor.

The Frenchman has spent the last ten years in North London but will only have one year remaining on his contract come the end of the season, so Spurs could consider replacing him with Oblak.

Oblak has become well known as one of the world’s best keepers since joining Atletico Madrid in 2014 - helping them win the league title and also being named in the UEFA La Liga Team of the Season on four different occasions.

However, it is thought he is now keen on a move to the Premier League, with Fichajes.net revealing that he is stalling on a new contract and exploring other options.

The report suggests that the Spanish club could be willing to sell the Slovenian for around £26.8 million in January in order to avoid him leaving for free next summer.

However, 90min claim that Oblak has already signed a new six-year deal with Atleti but still remains unsettled at the club.

If Tottenham do pursue a move for Oblak, they may also face competition from Manchester United.

It is believed that the Red Devils are on the hunt for a replacement for David de Gea whose contract expires at the end of the season - with Oblak a potential target.
