Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is already reaping the reward of his investment with the new signings shining and Ange Postecoglou proving to be a masterstroke appointment.
The Australian manager’s choice of players is also proving popular with record-signing Brennan Johnson looking every bit worth the money after his lightning performance against Sheffield United.

Hide AdHe looked to have scored a perfect goal after fetching a pass from Yves Bissouma and finishing comprehensively before VAR intervened to cancel it. The Nottingham Forest forward’s pace and energy has already delighted fans and owner Daniel Levy was on his feet when he scored before finding out he was marginally offside.
Manager Postecoglou who insisted on his signing in the summer highlighted his qualities including his energy when the deal was confirmed.
He told reporters: “Great to get him in. He’s good a good profile for us — very similar to the other guys we brought in — in that he’s young but has had some good experience already. The footballing qualities he brings fit really well with what we want to do,”
“He’s got energy, he’s got pace, he presses really well, he’s a wide player but can score goals. From that perspective, he ticks all the boxes.”
