Chelsea and Tottenham have new managers after disappointing campaigns last season. Tottenham’s Ange Postecoglou arrives as a treble winner north of the border, and will look to implement the kind of playing style that Spurs fans craved during the reigns of Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho.
Chelsea went through four coaches last season and none of them seemed to find a way to field what on paper was a very good team. On the pitch they lacked consistency and tactical direction. The board has turned to former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino to use his experience and knowledge to try to get the club to where it believes it belongs.
West Ham had a league season to forget until they went all the way to win the Europa Conference League - the first silverware in more than 40 years, making David Moyes a history maker.
This season Crystal Palace will have to navigate a Premier League campaign without the influence of Wilfried Zaha. The Ivorian talisman has left the club to join Galatasaray despite the Eagles offering a staggering £200,000 wage.
Everything else points to a fascinating campaign with subplots and plenty of new players to come.
