QPR

QPR’s Michael Beale has done an impressive job since taking over in the summer and has been linked with two clubs over the past 24 hours. Journalist Alan Nixon has reported on his Patreon that Rangers are interested in him, whilst the Express & Star claim he has emerged on the radar of Premier League side Wolves.

Ex-Hoops coach Kevin Bond has cut ties with Bristol Rovers. He has decided to leave his role as first-team coach of the League One outfit.

Millwall

Zian Flemming has been a hit with Millwall since making the move to the Den over the summer. He joined from Fortuna Sittard and has since scored five goals in 11 games. The Dutchman scored against Bristol City last time out and his boss Gary Rowett said, as per the Southwark News: “If you want it (the ball) to fall to one player you want it to fall to him, he’s not going to miss, he knows he’s got to play it first time, he knows he hasn’t got the time to take a touch. It was nice to score that type of goal.”

Jed Wallace has admitted his surprise at West Brom’s links to Rowett last week. The Lions manager emerged as a potential target for the Baggies and his former winger told BBC’s Football Daily Podcast: “It’s well documented that I probably played the best football of my career under Gary at Millwall and I got on well with him.

“I said to my missus last night it would be like breaking up with your missus, moving 300 miles up the road only for her to move into the flat above you and join the same gym. It would have been a bit mad but crazier things have probably happened in football but I’ve got a good relationship and I enjoy playing under him.”

Watford

Watford are reportedly close to bringing in Julian Dicks to bolster their backroom staff. He worked with Slaven Bilic at both West Ham and West Brom in the past.

Bilic has said, as per the Watford Advertiser: “Jules is in the United States and we just have to sort things out. Jules was always with me and part of my staff when I’ve worked in England. Hopefully we will sort it out. It’s all a matter of technicalities, those little things and details. But the will is there from both sides. The sooner the better. I miss him.”
