QPR in three-horse race for Scottish hotshot as Leeds United linked with £45m sale

Marti Cifuentes admitted that it would be party central at Loftus Road on Friday evening after confirming Championship survival with a stunning 4-0 win over Leeds United.
That result meant that all three of the London outfits in the Championship will return next season and look to improve on this year's outings.

QPR in race for Scottish hotshot
With Championship safety confirmed, QPR can now turn attention to the upcoming summer transfer window and recruit the necessary players to avoid a relegation battle next campaign.
The Daily Record reports that one player being looked at by the London outfit is Hearts youngster Rocco Friel. The 17-year-old, who is part of the Scotland under-19 set-up, is out of contract at Tynecastle this summer and could be available on a cut-price deal - although compensation would be entitled to the Scottish Premiership club should he move on.
Fried can play either as a right-sided defender or a midfielder and could be seen as a long-term successor for Jimmy Dunne. The big defender has done well in the role but isn't naturally a wide defender.

Watford close to deal for Colombian midfielder
Watford are believed to be on the verge of completing a deal for midfielder Elan Ricardo from Colombian side Equidad. The 20-year-old has enjoyed an impressive campaign with six goals in 17 appearances from midfield and could be ready to come to the UK.
Journalist Mariano Olsen now reports that Watford's purchase of the player will leave Equidad with 20% of a future sale. The reporter added that the Colombian side could keep the player and develop him until December, should that be Watford's desire.

The Leeds United winger has been one of the division's standout stars and David Lynch has told Anfield Index that it is a transfer that could well take place for Liverpool, with a £45 million price tag touted, although admitted it was still early doors on any move.
He said: “Yeah, I’ve no doubts that Liverpool like him. He’s someone who’s been prolific Championship-wise and done really well.
“Obviously he’s young, it looks like, you know, if you get a young player who’s doing that, putting up those sorts of numbers, they’ll feel like he can make that extra step.”
