The talkSPORT anchor has now visited all 92 football venues across the divisions but no stadium is better than Loftus Road.

QPR home ground Loftus Road has been hailed as the best in the country by talkSPORT anchor Adrian Durham after the reporter completed his mission of visiting every outfit in the Premier League and EFL.

A Monday night trip to Fleetwood Town stadium Highbury last month for a League Two meeting with Morecambe made it 92 football venues visited for Durham, who first started following football 48 years ago. The broadcaster has now visited the football ground of every single club in the top four tiers of the English game.

For talkSPORT, Durham set about picking his top 10 stadiums and it is Loftus Road that has come out on top of the pile. The home of QPR, the R's have been playing football in the West London venue since 1917 and has a capacity of 18,439.

The charismatic stadium is tucked behind the houses of Shepherd's Bush in the centre of London and is a ground whose stands are tightly packed next to the pitch. Durham visited Loftus Road to watch QPR in action against Crystal Palace last week with that fixture under the lights cementing the ground's top spot.

He wrote: "I went to QPR v Crystal Palace in the League Cup and it reminded me how much I loved it. It's in the middle of a housing estate in London. The corners are filled in, it's tight to the pitch.

"I just absolutely love it. It's another one where the atmosphere, when they're doing well, is fantastic. That's how a ground should be, right in the middle of a residential area. I love it."

Picking up the accolade, the list was shared by the official QPR social media account on X. The club wrote 'he knows' as they celebrated landing in top spot.

Leeds United were named in second place by Durham with the famous Elland Road an unsurprising inclusion in the top 10. Peterborough United placed in third, although the reporter's ties to the Posh no doubt played a role in elevating the Weston Homes Stadium to a podium place.

AFC Wimbledon, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Fulham, Charlton Athletic, Nottingham Forest and Harrogate Town made up the rest of the top 10.
