QPR 10 summer signings rated - 'Misfiring' 2/10 and 'wet behind the ears' 3 as R's struggle in Championship

Marti Cifuentes is running out of times he can pass off Championship draws as marks of progress for QPR when followed by underwhelming defeats.
The R's picked up important points against Burnley and Sunderland in improved performances following a run of four defeats but a 4-1 defeat to Middlesbrough at Loftus Road on Tuesday night was another setback for the Catalan coach.

Hide AdQPR now sit 23rd in the table, one place and one point of rock bottom, after the opening 14 fixtures. It's a worrying time for the London outfit, who did recruit several new faces this summer.
LondonWorld looks at the 10 first team signings made by QPR and how they have rated so far this season.
Nicolas Masden - 4/10

Arrived as somewhat of an unknown as he joined for a reported £2 million from Westerlo in Belgium. The 24-year-old saw plenty of game time early on in the season but lacked a presence in the centre of the park. Bounced back from two fixtures on the bench with a hugely impressive showing against Sunderland last weekend but might as well have stayed at home instead of what he managed against Middlesbrough midweek. Masden clearly has talent, which does lead to questions over character when he can be so absent in crunch games.
Zan Celar - 2/10
You've got to feel sorry for the big Slovenian, who arrived at Loftus Road for a reported £1.7 million. Celar plundered 21 goals in all competitions for Lugano last term but the Championship is a big step up from the Swiss league. The misfiring 25-year-old has now gone 17 R's appearances without a goal. Perhaps when the first comes then many will follow but QPR don't have the luxury of time in waiting for that to happen anymore.

QPR reportedly splashed £875,000 on the midfielder from Sporting Gijon. To say the player has been hit or miss would be an understatement and a red card against Blackburn Rovers didn't help his progression. There is the feeling he is moving in the right direction, having been particularly impressive against Sunderland, and could come good for QPR this season.
Daniel Bennie - 6/10
The 18-year-old has only been afforded 62 minutes of first team football so far this season as Cifuentes takes a cautious approach with the teenager. There does seem to be something about the Australian, who should perhaps be given a chance with the side struggling for goals.
Paul Nardi - 7/10

Asmir Begovic frustrated at times last season and his French replacement can hold his head high thanks to his work so far this term. Nardi has earned plaudits from his home country for some of his work at Loftus Road. Made some impressive saves and good with the ball at his feet.
Hevertton Santos - 3/10
Arrived at the club with the promise of bringing versatility into the first team but seems a little wet behind the ears. Has only started two league games and been hooked at half time in both of them. More needed.

Has won 100% of his matches for QPR since arriving from Bayern Munich this summer. Sadly, he's only played twice in Carabao Cup games before picking up an injury. He returned to the bench against Middlesbrough and fans will be keen to see what more he has to offer.
Koki Saito - 7/10

There's certainly a player here. When he does get running he can be hard to stop with a low centre of gravity and neat footwork. He's also filled in well at full-back when called upon by Cifuentes. It's easy to like his attitude and, while he is clearly still adjusting to the physicality of the Championship, this signing looks to be a success.
Harrison Ashby - 6/10
Some questions over his defensive work but enjoyed his best minutes for QPR against Sunderland before going off with what looked to be a hamstring injury. That blow has come at an awful time for the Newcastle United loanee.
Kader Dembele - 8/10
Has a goal and three assists in the Championship so far, which is a pretty solid return. The 21-year-old has bags of pace and likes to be direct, which QPR desperately need. Dembele has missed the last three through injury and could have been the difference against Burnley and Sunderland.
