It has been confirmed that the summer transfer window for EFL clubs will open on Friday, June 14, giving QPR a month to get their ducks in order ahead of recruiting for the season ahead.
R's fans already have a clue of the kind of deals Cifuentes will want done thanks to his work in the January window. LondonWorld evaluates those incomings and outgoings ahead of a summer of transfer action.
1. Michael Frey - Undisclosed fee
Scored in his second appearance at QPR but not again after that. Frey looked an ideal signing on paper but didn't end up offering too much more than a physical presence from the bench. Not in the squad for the final six fixtures with an injury. 2. Isaac Hayden - loan from Newcastle United
By all accounts, this was a successful loan spell. Hayden added experience to the midfield as he founded a much-needed rejuvenation following a stint at Standard Liege over the first half of the season. If he is available for free this summer, and his wage demands aren't too lofty, it makes sense for QPR to be interested in completing a deal. He's not the man to lift the Rs up the league alone but is a shrewd addition to the squad. | Getty Images
3. Joe Hodge - loan from Wolves
Looked to be a worldie of a loan move from QPR when Hodge arrived at the club. The midfielder scored from the bench on his debut and that winner against Blackburn Rovers is likely enough to justify his arrival. Fell out of favour towards the end of the campaign as his stay perhaps didn't hit the early heights he managed. | Getty Images
4. Lucas Andersen - free transfer
Arrived on a free transfer from AaB to reunite with Marti Cifuentes. Became the R's classiest player on the pitch at times and has all the credentials to be a key playmaker next season.
