QPR are set to complete a third Premier League signing of the January transfer window in another head-turning coup from the in-form Championship side.
The R's endured a tough start to the campaign and looked destined for another relegation battle but a dramatic upturn in form over the festive fixture period and the New Year has propelled the side to 13th. Marti Cifuentes' team are now 11 points above the drop zone and six points off the play-offs.

QPR set for third Premier League signing
On Wednesday, it was then confirmed that QPR had brokered a deal with Tottenham Hotspur to bring the highly-rated Yang Min-Hyeok on loan for the rest of the season. The 18-year-old only officially signed for Spurs on January 1, having agreed a deal last year, having won the K-League Young Player of the Year accolade last season.
Now, it seems that QPR are set to bring another player from a Premier League club to Loftus Road. GiveMeSport reporter Ben Jacobs took to social media platform X on Wednesday night to claim that Chelsea midfielder Harvey Vale is to make the switch across West London.
Jacobs wrote: "Exclusive: QPR have made an offer to sign Harvey Vale. Vale has agreed terms. Chelsea and QPR now in advanced talks over bonus payments and a sell-on clause."

Reporter Mark McAdam has added that there is not expected to be a transfer fee for the player, despite his contract not running out until the end of the season. It is believed that the sell-on clause wanted by Chelsea is a 'significant' figure.
R’s beat Sunderland and West Brom to Chelsea deal
Vale had previously been linked with Oxford United and West Brom. Sunderland had also been named as potential suitors earlier this month.
The former England under-20 international impressed in League One with Bristol Rovers last season and has made two Europa Conference League appearances this season. Vale picked up minutes against FC Astana and Shamrock Rovers for Chelsea.

Hide AdPreviously a Chelsea Academy Player of the Year, Vale is best known as a left-sided winger but was used as a wing-back while at Bristol Rovers. He scored three goals and picked up six assists in 47 matches from that position during that spell.
Vale was the subject of a bid from Saudi Pro League club Al Ettifaq in September but rejected the option to move to the Middle East in favour of continuing his career in Europe.
In other news, QPR appear to have landed a transfer blow on Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur with reports of a rising midfield star signing a new contract at Loftus Road.
