Arsenal were understandably furious at the time but those feelings have quickly wavered into focus and concentration ahead of arguably the biggest game of the season so far.
Former Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus is still a few weeks from returning to full fitness, while Emile Smith Row is not yet in contention to be involved.
City boss Pep Guardiola has suggested that Erling Haaland may be doubtful for Wednesday’s game, although it remains to be seen whether or not he’ll be selected for the game at Emirates Stadium.
