The infamously addictive game returned on November 8th with it’s 2022 edition, taking an even deeper dive into the world of football management, adding a shiny new data hub and an improved match engine to its already extensive take on life in the dugout.
For a bit of fun, we've fired up the newly released productivity-devastator, and sent the game three years into the future to see how West Ham line up on the first day of the 2024/25 season.
Take a look at how the game predicts the Hammers’ matchday squad will look as they prepare for a season opener against Burnley:

13. Sub 2: Issa Diop
On the bench here but still a regular starter, Diop is in a similar position to Kurt Zouma, who only misses out on this squad through injury. (Photo by Mike Hewitt/Getty Images) Photo: Mike Hewitt

14. Sub 3: Pablo Fornals
Very much a squad player in three years' time, his return of 10 goals in 146 outings feels surprisingly low. (Photo by Alex Pantling/Getty Images) Photo: Alex Pantling

15. Sub 4: Eddie Nketiah
A target for the Hammers in real life if the latest tabloid reports are to be believed, Nketiah does eventually get his move in 2023, averaging one goal every four games. (Photo by Alex Pantling/Getty Images) Photo: Alex Pantling

16. Sub 5: Antoine Semenyo
Another in a long line of Championship signings, Semenyo hasn't made much of an impact in East London just yet, but he is still only 24 and has plenty of time to kick on. (Photo by Harry Trump/Getty Images) Photo: Harry Trump
