Ruben Amorim confirms added injury concern ahead of Man Utd vs Fulham

Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has issued the latest on his side’s injury situation ahead of Sunday’s FA Cup fifth round clash with Fulham. The Red Devils managed to pick up a much-needed win over Ipswich Town during the week as they look to battle through a difficult campaign.
Amorim has struggled to establish any kind of momentum since his arrival from Sporting CP, and it looks as though they will have to settle for a to-half finish at best, and perhaps even a bottom half finish this season.

Hide AdUnited do still have the FA Cup and Europa League as avenues into Europe, however, but Fulham will have other ideas as they head to Old Trafford just two wins away from an appearance at Wembley, with many of the bigger clubs already eliminated from the competition.
To boot, the Cottagers will face a United side that is currently wrestling with injuries aplenty, and their latest concern involves Alejandro Garnacho, who has a knock that he is trying to shake off ahead of the game. Amorim said in his pre-match press conference: “He has a knock, I expect him to be ready but we will see, I have to wait until tomorrow."
United are currently without Altay Bayindir, Toby Collyer, Tom Heaton, Amad Diallo, Jonny Evans, Kobbie Mainoo, Lisandro Martinez, Mason Mount and Luke Shaw through injury, and none of those will return here.
"No, I think no one different is back,” added the United boss. “They are still trying to recover to help us in the next games.” He continuedL “It's really important for us [the FA Cup] but nowadays everything is important. Like the last win, just the feeling of winning, the way we work in the last days is completely different. So, we want to go to the next stage, to have two wins at home, especially at home, we need that feeling.”
United will also be without defender Patrick Dorgu, who was sent off for a nasty tackle during Wednesday’s win over Ipswich.
