Seri, 30, cut ties with the Cottagers at the end of June when his deal expired and is now edging closer to a return to the Championship.

Hull Live claim he visited the club’s training ground in Cottingham yesterday to complete his surprise move.

He is joining a Hull City side who are preparing for their first full season under the ownership of Acun Ilicali and they have so far brought in former Watford loan man Ozan Tufan, Chelsea goalkeeper Nathan Baxter and defender Tobias Figueiredo.

Seri’s time at Craven Cottage

Fulham swooped to sign Seri back in 2018 and forked out £27 million (as per Transfermarkt) to lure him to England from OGC Nice.

He made 34 appearances for the London outfit during his first year but was then loaned out to Galatasaray and Bordeaux.

The Ivory Coast international then forced his way back into the side last term under Marco Silva and helped the club win the Championship title.

Other outgoing Fulham news

Steven Sessegnon has been given the green light to join Charlton Athletic on a season-long loan deal. He has been loaned out to Bristol City and Plymouth Argyle in the past.

Timmy Abraham, who like Seri has left this summer, is on trial with League Two side Walsall according to a report by the Express & Star. The striker spent time last season on loan at Newport County.
