Manor Solomon’s first words after completing Fulham move

Fulham have completed the signing of Manor Solomon from Shakhtar Donetsk.

The winger has linked up with the London club on a deal until June 2023.

Solomon, 22, is an Israel international with 31 caps to his name so far in his career.

Fulham have announced the addition on their official club website.

First words

Solomon has said:

“I’m really happy and delighted to be here at Fulham and I can’t wait to feel the special atmosphere at Craven Cottage.

“There are some great players here and I am determined to help Fulham achieve its goals for the year. I also want to send a big hug to my friends and supporters in Ukraine. You are in my thoughts.”

He will give the Cottagers more competition and depth in forward areas and has become their third acquisition of the window behind Joao Palphina and Andreas Pereira.

The attacker started his career at Maccabi Petah Tikva in his native Isreal before he was snapped up by Shakhtar Donetsk back in 2019.

Solomon has since been a key player for the Ukrainian giants and has scored 23 goals in 109 games, helping them win the league title three times.

Fulham are bury preparing for life back in the top flight and beat Marco Silva’s former club Estoril 3-1 in their latest friendly.

Their first game of the new campaign is at home to Liverpool on 6th August.
