Latest Fulham transfer news and rumours as they prepare for their next Premier League clash

Fulham are reportedly keen on Fiorentina centre-back Igor. Fellow Premier League side Leicester City are also said to be in the frame for his signature.

According to Firenzeviola (via Sport Witness), the defender has attracted ‘interest’ from the Cottagers ahead of the summer. Unnamed teams in France and Spain are believed to be keeping tabs on his situation as well.

Fulham may see the 25-year-old as someone to compete with their current defensive options ahead of next term. It remains to be seen whether Tosin Adarabioyo will be staying put next term amid links to Italy.

Igor joined Fiorentina in 2020 on an initial loan deal from SPAL and has since become a key player for the Serie A outfit. He has made 68 appearances for them in all competitions and still has another year left on his contract.

He has also played for Red Bull Brazil, FC Liefering, Red Bull Salzburg, Wolfsberger and FK Austria Wien in the past. The Brazilian’s transfer situation is up in the air with the end of the campaign drawing ever closer.

In other Fulham news, Marco Silva was pleased with their 2-0 away win at Southampton this weekend. Next up for the Whites is a home clash against fellow London club Crystal Palace next Saturday before a final day trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United. The boss has said: “Really good to see the way we performed and the way we deserved the three points away from home. To get a clean sheet as well, the feeling was great.

“We saw it during all of the match but to see it at the end, the connection between the players and fans as well is a great feeling for me, something that you are working to achieve more and more.”
