Fulham are said to be working on a deal to re-sign a player Marco Silva is a huge fan of. The Cottagers have been working hard to add a winger to their ranks on deadline day, making a number of approaches.
The Cottagers reached out to AS Roma in a bid to sign wing-back Zeki Celik on loan, but their advances were rejected, while there has been talk of the club speaking to AC Milan about signing Samu Chukwueze, with the Serie A club reportedly looking for a touch under £20million to sell their 2023 signing from Villarreal.

Sky Sports are reporting that Fulham are working on a deal to re-sign Willian after his brief stint with Olympiacos. The Brazilian made only six league appearances after joining the Greek club and left at the end of December.
Sky Sports say Fulham are now in talks over a deal, and the winger is in the area, attending tonight’s Premier League clash between Chelsea and West Ham. Willian could be at Craven Cottage in 35 minutes if he takes off by foot, and even sooner by car if traffic is kind.
Cottagers boss Silva was reluctant to lose Willian in the first place, saying late last season: “Last season he had an offer from either Saudi or Dubai, we know that. It is up to him to decide what is best for his future and his family. From my side I am going to do my maximum to keep him with us. I have many conversations with Willian about everything, not just his contract. He is a special player, I have a strong relationship with him, a special one. Everything is so clear between me and him. The player wants to wait until the end of the season.”
The winger made 59 league appearances for Fulham, scoring nine times.
