Hide AdRoma reject deal
Fulham are said to have submitted a fresh proposal for AS Roma star Zeki Celik, reportedly wanting to sign the versatile right-sided defender on loan. But Roma are said to have rejected the deal, not wanting to lose the player at this stage of the season.
Fabrizio Romano tweeted: “AS Roma have rejected Fulham proposal for Zeki Celik, decision made by the club today.”The 27-year-old has made 20 league appearances for the Italian club this season, so he is featuring regularly.
Holding deal
Crystal Palace look to have found a way to offload Rob Holding. The defender has been frozen out of Oliver Glasner’s plans this season with the pair appearing to have fallen out.
According to Football Insider, Sheffield United have offered Holding a route away from Selhurst Park, at least for now. The defender is set to join the Championship promotion hopefuls on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Hide AdMatete suggestion
Paul Merson has told Manchester United to sign Jean-Philippe Mateta after the Palace star punished the Red Devils at Old Trafford on Sunday. “Man United should get Mateta, that’s what they need,” Merson told Sky Sports.
“He’s a strong lad up front, playing at the top of his game, he leads the line, scoring goals now. He runs and works his socks off harder than anyone you know. But they won’t because he plays for Palace. And everyone would go: ‘what are you buying him for?’ But he’s 100 times better than anyone Man Utd have in the front line. Not Amad, he’s a young kid – but he’s much better than Hojlund and Zirkzee at the moment. And Man Utd are playing Mainoo up front. If you’re one of those two centre forwards, I would say: I might as well go out on loan and play for Exeter this month.”
