The centre-back helped Fulham win the Championship title last season

Fulham have a decision to make regarding Tosin Adarabioyo’s long-term future at the club this summer. The defender was linked with a move away in the January transfer window but ended up staying put.

He isn’t a guaranteed starter for Marco Silva’s side anymore at the back due to the form of Tim Ream and Issa Diop. However, there is no doubt that he still provides great competition for the defensive department.

According to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, Serie A giants Inter Milan are keeping tabs on him ahead of a potential swoop at the end of this season. The reports also mentions that French pair Marseille and AS Monaco are also interested so the player is not short of attractive options overseas.

Adarabioyo, 25, is under contract at Fulham until June 2024 meaning the London club risk losing him for free next year unless they cash in on him this summer or next January, assuming he doesn’t put pen-to-paper on a new deal at Craven Cottage. He has made 14 league appearances this term but hasn’t started since 14th February in the Premier League.

Ream is 35 now and won’t be able to play forever, although he is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. The Cottagers need to take into account Adarabioyo has years ahead of him, still has a bright future and would be ideal to slot in for the USA international in the long-term, but is he happy sitting on the bench in the meantime? Fulham’s recruitment since promotion has been impressive and they will no doubt have targets in mind if he is sold.
