Fulham boss Marco Silva is relaxed about Manor Solomon’s transfer situation. The winger is currently on loan at Craven Cottage from Shakhtar Donetsk.

The Israel international had to bide his time initially for game time with the London club due to injury woes and strong competition for his position. However, he has started to force his way into the side and is in great form at the moment, scoring impressive goals in the last two outings against Wolves and Leeds United respectively.

Fulham will no doubt look to land him on a long-term basis but may have to face competition from elsewhere after his recent performances. Speaking ahead of Monday’s clash against Brentford, Silva has said: “It was a long process for him to sign with us. He was one of the first targets for m and one of the first players that I put on the table for our board to sign.

“Of course all that situation with Shakhtar took a little bit longer than we would have liked and in the end we signed him on loan. We have to wait for the right moment to speak with him again and see what will be the decision.”

He added: “It is not something that is our focus right now, of course it’s not for me or for Manor to take care of. We focus on the next game and to get the best from him. He is really focused on his role in this football club and let’s see what will (happen) be in the future.”

Landing Solomon permanently would be a big statement of intent by Fulham if they are able to do so. Silva has insisted their main focus right now though is to carry on picking up results in the Premier League as they chase down a place in Europe.
