Fulham are reportedly interested in Brøndby goalkeeper Mads Hermansen. The Cottagers are one of a few clubs being linked with the stopper in this transfer window.

As per a report by Ekstrabladet, the London club are keen on luring him to Craven Cottage. However, fellow Premier League sides Everton and AFC Bournemouth are also being linked, as are European duo PSV and Napoli.

Fulham could see Hermansen as long-term competition with Bernd Leno between the sticks. He is under contract until the summer of 2025.

The Denmark youth international has been on the books at Brøndby for his whole career to date and has established himself as one of their most prized assets. He has made 55 appearances in all competitions so far won their Player of the Year for 2022.

Elsewhere, Marco Silva has cooled speculation linking his side with Roma’s Rick Karsdorp and Rennes’ Hamari Traore. He has said, as per The Athletic: “About the Roma player (Karsdorp) it’s not true. About the Rennes player (Hamari Traore) it’s not true. Now everybody is throwing names and names on the table. These two for sure are not true.”

He refused to rule out a swoop for Arsenal full-back Cedric Soares though: “I’m not saying that Cedric is true or not. We are looking for that position. I will not hide to you.”

Fulham beat Chelsea 2-1 last time out and are now 6th in the table. Next up is a trip to fellow high-flyers Newcastle United on Sunday.
