Crystal Palace and Fulham are both reportedly interested in signing Bournemouth midfielder Jefferson Lerma this summer. The Colombia international, who has 33 caps under his belt so far in his career, is out of contract at the end of the season.

He is due to become a free agent in late June as things stand. The Cherries have almost secured their place in the top flight again for another year but could face a battle to keep one of their key players.

According to TEAMtalk, both Crystal Palace and Fulham are ‘looking’ to land him but will face competition from fellow Premier League teams such as West Ham, Nottingham Forest and Leicester City. In addition, European clubs such as Real Betis, Nice, Lille and Villarreal have also been mentioned as possible suitors so he won’t be short of options.

Lerma signed for Bournemouth back in 2018 and has since been a decent servant to the Dorset outfit. He has made 180 appearances for them in all competitions and has chipped in with 12 goals, five of which have come this term.

Prior to his move to England, he had spells at Atlético Huila in his native country and then Levante in Spain. Crystal Palace and Fulham are both being linked with him but there are a few clubs in the frame.
