Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace lost only for the second time since his return to the club following a hard-fought 1-0 game against Tottenham.

Sam Johnstone-6

Will be gutted by the lack of protection for the first Tottenham goal. Produced some brilliant goalkeeping to keep out Son Heung-min when the Korean was through on goal.

Marc Guehi-6

Composed and calm as always. Won his individual duels and had a header from a corner taken off his head by Romero just when he was about to attack it. It’s some season he’s had.

Joachim Andersen-5.5

Made a couple of remarkable defending in the first half to keep Palace tight when Tottenham threatened an opener. His header from a clipped Højbjerg cross had the right kind of commitment and fight that will delight his manager.

Tyrick Michell-5.5

Making his 100th appearance for the Eagles , Tyrick looked solid largely even if he would have wanted to do more attacking wise.

Joel Ward-5.5

Took a real hit to the stomach early on but, but Ward is really an underrated leader in this Palace team. Ratings affected by the fact Kane sneaked behind him to score the Tottenham goal, but still a good day’s work.

Eberechi Eze-5

Sent out a brilliant pass to Olise on the break in the second half which was just cut off by Son. Looked bright in patches without necessarily threatening to grab the game by the neck. Special player when he gets going.

Cheick Doucoure-6.5

What a signing the midfielder has been for the Eagles, there was a point in the first half where he cut off a through ball with Tottenham’s Son Heung-min just waiting to unleash his strike. His consistency has been a credit during a chaotic time for the club. Impressive first year.

Jeffrey Schlupp-5

Jeffrey has come into form again since Roy returned and was solid in midfield again. Complements Eze and Doucoure quite well at the heart of midfield.

Wilfried Zaha-6

Had a first chance to stretch his legs in the first half and didn’t disappoint. Took on two men before dangerously cutting back, but it was a shame no Palace player was there to finish it off. Looked dangerous against Emerson all game.

Jordan Aye-5

Tireless running and incredibly hard working even when he wasn’t getting enough services.

Michael Olise-6

Brilliant on the ball when he took on Ben Davies. What stood out was his willingness to help his defence out. Surely in the discussion for player of the season.
