Both Crystal Palace and Tottenham were involved in seven-goal thrillers last weekend, but it's the Eagles who arrive in north London in form.

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson is hoping his in-form side can take advantage of Tottenham’s recent poor outings to record his first away win to the Lilywhites.

Hodgson has enjoyed a brilliant return to south London, leading the team to a last-gasp win over Leicester before thrashing Leeds United 5-1 in the subsequent game.

Southampton will also fall to a 2-0 defeat before an incredibly unlucky 0-0 draw with Everton followed. Wolves have been the only side to beat the Eagles since Roy returned, but even that was quickly put aside with a thrilling 4-3 win over West Ham United to hit the 40-point mark, that guarantees Premier League safety.

The football has been good too with key players like Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise, thriving and looking re-born under the 75-year-old manager.

The game against Tottenham comes at a time Spurs are still with a chance to finish in the top four but have won only one of their last seven games.

Roy Hodgson who knows a team can be dangerous even at their lowest point wants his side to eschew complacency and help him record his first away win at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium this weekend.

He told reporters: “There are lots of other players in their team as well with incredible ability. They’re still vying for a Champions League place.

“We know how difficult a game it will be. If we go to Tottenham and win this weekend, I don’t remember ever having won there, it would probably be a first for me, I think.”

Spurs lost to Liverpool and will be hoping for a swift response in front of their fans while Palace will hope to now bag points to equal last season's tally of 48, which is just one short of their all-time best which is 49 in Premier League history.
