Hull City will reportedly not try and re-sign Crystal Palace winger Malcolm Ebiowei this summer. The teenager joined the Tigers on loan in the last January transfer window to get some experience under his belt.

However, he has struggled to make an impact during his time in East Yorkshire. He has made 12 appearances for Liam Rosenior’s side but hasn’t managed to score or get an assist.

As detailed in a report by Hull Live, the attacker is ‘expected’ to return to Selhurst Park when his deal in the Championship expires. He is under contract with the London club until June 2027.

Crystal Palace signed the promising 19-year-old last June and he made a couple of appearances for the Eagles over pre-season. He then played five games in all competitions during the first-half of this term before the Tigers won the race for his signature in the winter.

Ebiowei, who is an England youth international, had spells in the academies at Chelsea, Arsenal and Rangers as a youngster before Derby County snapped him up in 2021. He was a hit during his time at Pride Park and his impressive performances with the Rams earned him a Premier League move.

The prospect hasn’t been able to find form with Hull and his spell up north has turned into a steep learning curve for him. Crystal Palace will have a decision to make regarding what to do with him ahead of the next campaign with it seemingly unlikely that Rosenior wants him back.
