How Oliver Glasner is monitoring his Crystal Palace players during holidays

Crystal Palace had the best end to the campaign winning their last five games and finishing 10th.

Oliver Glasner is going all out to ensure his team continue from where they left off when the new Premier League season starts. All the players have now left for holidays but not without the two important details the Austrian manager demands.

LondonWorld has been told the players have been handed a sports watch to help them monitor their weight and exercise levels while they are on holiday. The strict instructions are that any player who returns overweight will not have days off and will have to find extra days to shed the weight they have gained during the time they were away.

The Europa League-winning manager has also done something that no Palace manager has ever done in recent history by sending two fitness trainers to Dubai as he expected a large number of his players to head to the Middle Eastern country.

What the fitness coaches will do is that if any players want to work out and stay in shape all they need to do is drop them a message they'll be there to help them with their workout.

Fitness, focus, details and discipline are at the heart of Glasner’s methods and he wants his players to maintain the same level of energy that saw them beat teams like Newcastle and Aston Villa comprehensively.

Despite spending large parts of the campaign in 14th, the Eagles raced to a strong end that saw them win their last five games and equal their best league position finish (10th).

The 49 points are also the best tally they have ever had in the Premier League but most importantly individual players are looking sharp and enjoy the system that he's created at Selhurst.

On the transfer front, The Eagles are closing in on signing Real Betis defender Chadi Riad in a £14million deal that will give them strength in depth.
