Crystal Palace talisman Wilfried Zaha has been constantly linked with a move from Selhurst this summer.

As the days fly by so does Wilfried Zaha’s time at Crystal Palace with the striker out of contract this summer and yet to agree a deal for an extension.

Zaha will go down as easily one of the best players to have played for the Eagles, last season he was the main man as has often been the case with his time in south London.

He scored 15 goals as Patrick Vieira’s side reached the last four of the FA Cup and came just one point short of their all-time Premier League best point tally of 49.

Former Manchester United talent Danny Simpson says Marcus Rashford would particularly benefit from having Zaha in the team.

He is quoted by the Mirror: “I would bring him back here.

“If you’re looking at Marcus Rashford as the No. 9 and Wilfried on the left, that is some firepower. It was Sir Alex Ferguson who signed him then he left. Moyes obviously came in and it didn’t work out.”

This campaign Zaha has six Premier League goals, the highest for the club in the league and even though there is uncertainty surrounding his long-term future- he’s continued to lead from the the front for Eagles.

According to reports in Italy, Italy AS Roma are still eyeing him as one of the players they could get as a free agent in the summer. Jose Mourinho is a key admirer of his talent.

Wilfried Zaha has left Palace before, when he moved to Manchester and even though he did not succeed in the north, there is still feeling he can still play in the Champions League for a club that is competing for laurels.

Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag has also been encouraged to snap up Zaha in the summer almost 10 years after his first spell at Old Trafford.
