Crystal Palace were in pre-season friendly action today against fellow Premier League side Liverpool.
The Eagles lost 2-0 after goals from Jordan Henderson and Mo Salah.
Patrick Viera has taken a depleted squad over to Singapore with him and the game against the Reds was mainly used by him to take a look at his players and give them some game time.
Palace brought on new signing Malcolm Eboiwei in the second-half but other arrivals Sam Johnstone and Cheick Doucoure weren’t present.
Youngsters such as Scott Banks, Malachi Boateng, Rob Street, Jake O’Brien and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi got some valuable game time under their belts.
Next up for the London club is a clash against League One side Ipswich Town tomorrow, followed by Manchester United next Tuesday.
Those games provide an opportunity for those who didn’t feature against Liverpool to play. Here are the six players who were left on the bench...
