Crystal Palace have now released their home kit for the upcoming 2022/2023 season, as they team up with Macron to release what many are dubbing the kit of the season.

The kit was released late on the evening Monday, 11 July 2022, and was modelled by key stars such as Wilfried Zaha, Tyrick Mitchell, Eberechi Eze, Luke Plange and more.

As with the away kit that was released a few days before, it features the updated 1861 crest, which recognises the rich history of the club.

The new kit is also made using eco-fabric which is 100% polyester, sourced from recycled plastic and certified by the Global Recycled Standard.

Chairman Steve Parish commented on the kit, saying: “Our performances at Selhurst Park have been the bedrock of our success in the Premier League, and I can’t wait to see the side walk out in south London in this striking new design which offers yet another modern twist on our traditional colours.

"As we enter our record tenth successive season in the top-flight, I’m sure the team will create some outstanding new memories for our supporters at home whilst wearing the famous red and blue kits.”

What does the new Crystal Palace kit look like?

Palace is known for their red and blue kits, but despite the colour scheme remaining the same, the kit is quite different from last season.

It’s a bold and distinguished look, with the two colours seemingly merging to create a zig-zag and organised mess look, a far cry from their more civilised and calm stripes from last season, the resembled seat belts in a car, in an arranged formation.

There is also another new addition, with the introduction of a white collar too, with a blue and red stripe running through the collar.

For the past two seasons, the now-established Premier League side have been sponsored by leading global online gaming brand, W88 but the sponsor has now changed, with the south London club now donning car sales company Cinch on their shirts.
