The Eagles have already faced Accrington Stanley (with whom they drew 1-1) and Millwall (against whom they won 5-4) in pre-season matches but will now face their Premier League peers as they take on Jurgen Klopp’s men at Singapore’s National Stadium.

Hide AdVieira has, however, named a limited squad with only 10 first team players selected to fly out for the tour, which will also incoporate Australia.
26 Palace players have flown out, compare to Liverpool’s 37. The reason for such depletion, with names including Wilfried Zaha, Christian Benteke, Marc Guehi all missing out, as been cited as players not being ‘currently fit’ or their entry requirements for Singapore and Australia had not been sorted when travel arrangements were made.
Vieira’s new signings, Sam Johnstone and Chieck Doucoure have also missed out on the pre-season tour.
Those left behind will be involved with training sessions, led by the club’s assistant manager Osian Roberts.

England U21 ‘priority target’ for Palace
After reports came in to suggest Crystal Palace had been putting out feelers for the Wolverhampton Wanderers and England U21 star Morgan Gibbs-White, fresh news has arrived detailing the midfielder is now a top target.
TalkSPORT reporter Alex Crook has told GIVEMESPORT that: “there’s lots of clubs in for (Gibbs-White) as far afield as AC Milan.
“Palace, having missed out on Flynn Downes, have made him their priority target.
“Wolves are looking for £20m.
“I think he’ll probably leave.”

Wolves reportedly have no interest in selling their rising star, but this has not stopped any interest from the Premier League and beyond from growing.
Palace to miss out on City youngster
Patrick Vieira has long been an admirer of the one-time Manchester City star Manu Garcia and while there had been several reports linking a move from Sporting Gijon to Palace, it would now appear as if Palace have missed out to Greece.
La Voz de Asturias, via HITC, reported that the Spanish 24-year-old is likely to move to Aris Thessaloniki with Sporting Gijon currently forming a deal.

Palace show desire to AC Roma starlet
Felix Afena-Gyan has caught the eye of Patrick Vieira, according to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio.
It would appear as if the Eagles are willing to spend in the region of £10m on the Ghanian who is yet to disappoint since joining the Italian side AC Roma.
Afena-Gyan is a product fo the EurAfrica youth academy and has featured in 17 league matches for Roma in 2021/22 and the Eagles are currently looking to strengthen their attacking options with Gianluca Di Marzio suggesting the Ghanian firecracker is the answer to Vieira’s prayers.
