Crystal Palace linked with winger again while new recruit gears up for first outing

Crystal Palace are back in pre-season action tomorrow against French club Montpellier.

The Eagles will be looking to end their run of friendlies with a win.

They then take on London rivals Arsenal next Friday in the opening game of the 2022/23 Premier League season.

League One boss tight-lipped

Charlton Athletic boss Ben Garner is tight-lipped on the Addicks’ links to Palace youngster Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.

The teenager has been away with Patrick Viera’s side in Singapore and Australia.

Speaking to London News Online, ex-Eagles coach Garner said: “Once we sign any player, I’m happy to talk about them until the cows come home. Before anything is done, I won’t say anything on that.”

Richards trains for the first time

New boy Chris Richards has been training with his new teammates this week.

Palace have swooped to sign the USA international from Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

As per the club’s official website, the latest recruit has been out on the grass Copers Cope Road and had the number 26 on his training kit.

Lozano linked again

Crystal Palace have been linked with a move for Napoli ace Hirving Lozano again.

The Mexico international, who is 26-years-old, has been playing his football in Italy since 2019.

As per a report by AreaNapoli, Viera’s side have ‘made contact’ regarding his availability in this transfer window, whilst fellow top flight club West Ham United have also been credited with an interest.
