Chairman signals to desire to sign winger
Charlton Athletic want to sign Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi on loan.
The Addicks are keen to lure the highly-rated youngster to The Valley.

Hide AdTheir owner, Thomas Sandgaard, has said, as per a report by the South London Press: “We are very interested in Rak-Sakyi, he’s an exciting winger that could bring extra attacking power to the team. But no deal is done as of yet.”
Richards’ first words
The Eagles have completed the signing of defender Chris Richards from Bayern Munich.
He has penned a five-year contract at Selhurst Park after spending last term on loan at Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga.
Richards has said, as per the official club website: “I grew up watching the Premier League and grew up of course watching [Wilfried] Zaha, so it’ll be cool to spend some time on the field with them [the Palace players] and be a part of this historic club. I’m really excited for it.

Former player lands new role
Former Crystal Palace player Stephen Dobbie has returned to Blackpool.
The Scotsman, who played 17 times for the Eagles, hung up his boots in May after a final spell with AFC Fylde in non-league.
He has now been appointed as the Seasiders’ Senior Professional Development Phase Coach.
