Crystal Palace linked with promising striker and potential new defensive addition

Crystal Palace are being linked with a move for Gambia international striker Adam Bojang. The Eagles are one of a few clubs who have been credited with an interest in the promising 18-year-old.

He currently plays in his native country for Steve Biko FC. However, he is alerting the attention of clubs over in England according to the Daily Mail.

Crystal Palace are believed to be in the frame for his signature ahead of the summer. Fellow London clubs Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have also been mentioned, as have European trio Sporting Lisbon, Inter Milan and Red Bull Salzburg.

Bojang, who is 18-years-old, is being tipped for a bright future in the game. He stands at 6ft 3inc and was named in the CAF Best XI Team of the Tournament at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup which caught the eye of scouts.

In other Crystal Palace news, they are said to be interested in OGC Nice full-back Jordan Lotomba, as per Get Football News France. Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg are also a potential suitor so there will be competition for his signature at the end of this campaign.

Lotomba, 24, has been with is current club since 2020 and they could face a battle to keep hold of him. He has also had spells at FC Lausanne-Sport and Young Boys in the past.

The Eagles are back in action this weekend against Nottingham Forest at home as they look to end the campaign on a high at Selhurst Park. Both sides don’t have anything to play for after Steve Cooper’s men secured their status in the Premier League after beating Arsenal 1-0 at the City Ground last time out.
