Crystal Palace are being linked with a move for Fenerbahce’s Bright Osayi-Samuel. The Eagles are said to be keen on luring the former QPR man back to London before the end of the transfer window as they hunt for new additions.

As per Turkish news outlet Feneralayi (via HITC) Patrick Viera’s side are claimed to have made an offer for the Nigeria international. He can operate as either a wing-back or a winger.

Crystal Palace have been in the market for a signing to operate on the right flank and with their pursuit of Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka taking a hit following his emergence back into Erik ten Hag’s team over recent weeks, a move for Osayi-Samuel as an alternative makes sense.

The Blackpool academy graduate moved over to Turkey in 2021 and has since made 88 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals and picking up six assists. His contract with the Istanbul outfit expires in June 2025.

Prior to his switch to the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium, he spent four years on the books at QPR and was a key player for the Hoops. He found the net 13 times in 115 outings for the R’s before they sold him, but he could now end up at Selhurst Park, if the reports are indeed true.

In other news, Coventry City have no plans to sell Crystal Palace-linked Viktor Gyokeres this winter. Football League World claim the Sky Blues will do their upmost to keep him.
