Crystal Palace are being linked with double transfer swoop in the next window.

The summer transfer market has only just slammed shut and rumours about January are already arising now.

Patrick Viera’s side are 15th in the Premier League table after one win from their opening six games.

As reported by The Sun, the Eagles could make moves for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher and Bristol City striker Antoine Semenyo this winter to bolster their ranks.

The pair were reported to be on their radar in the past window but moves to Selhurst Park didn’t materialise for either.

January targets

Gallagher is a player who Palace fans know well from his time on loan in the last campaign. The England international, who is 22-years-old, scored eight goals in all competitions for the South London outfit.

He returned to Stamford Bridge at the end of last season and has played a few times already for Thomas Tuchel’s side this term.

However, he is apparently going to emerge on Viera’s radar once again as he looks to lure him back.

Semenyo has been a key player for Bristol City over recent years and The Sun claim the only thing stopping Palace from moving for him last month was the fact he wasn’t fully fit.

He has scored three goals already this season and he looks to help the Robins compete for promotion.

In other Crystal Palace news, Viera was happy with their point away at Newcastle United.

He said, as per a report by London News Online:

“[I’m] happy with a point.

“It’s a tough place to come. There was a big atmosphere, and we needed to defend well as a team, and we did it well. We fully deserved that point.

“We knew that [defending set-pieces] was going to be a challenge. You look at the physical aspect, and every set piece was a challenge.”
