Crystal Palace are reportedly keeping tabs on Partick Thistle youngster Aiden McGinlay. The teenager is attracting plenty of Premier League interest at the moment and is being tipped for a bright future in the game.

The Eagles have ‘watched’ him in action this season, as detailed in a report by the Daily Record. Fellow London pair Fulham and West Ham United have also been credited with an interest in him.

McGinlay has been on the books of Partick Thistle for his whole career to date and has been a key player for them at youth levels over recent times. He is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Scottish Championship outfit. He is also yet to pen a professional contract which means his current side are vulnerable to losing him.

The left-sided player has a big decision to make with clubs from below the border being linked with him. Crystal Palace have proved to be a great home for young prospects over recent times and could see him as a decent option for them in the long-term.

There will be competition for his signature though and the Eagles may have to see off strong competition from some league rivals if they are to lure McGinlay to Selhurst Park. Patrick Viera’s side got back to winning ways over the weekend after beating Southampton 1-0.
