Eberechi Eze has signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract with Crystal Palace despite interest from Arsenal and Newcastle.

LondonWorld had initially hinted that he was on the verge of signing a new deal in the summer but can now confirm that he's committed to the club until the summer of 2027 even though there is a release clause if there were to be a serious bid from somewhere.

The Eagles signed Eze from Queens Park Rangers for an initial £16million in August 2020 and he had entered into the final 24 months of his existing deal.

He's established himself as one of the best players for the club and has gone on to make the England squad at the back of some impressive performances for the Eagles.

He suffered a ruptured Achilles in May 2021 but fought back to establish himself as a key player in a show of ultimate character and with Palace losing Wilfried Zaha in the summer, there is a feel that he's one of the main men for the team.

Last season, Eze scored 10 goals and added four assists in 38 Premier League matches for Palace as they recovered from a poor start to the season to finish comfortably in midtable.
