Crystal Palace expected XI vs Villa: Injury to Marc Guehi forces Vieira into changes at the back

Patrick Vieira will make some changes to his team that will play against Villa on Sunday afternoon.

For Palace there is  a lot to still play for including the chance to meet their all time Premier League points tally of 49, they are currently on 44.

The Eagles have suffered 11 defeats all season, the best they have managed in their Premier League history and they will look to go after more records in the remaining three games.

Patrick Vieira gave littel away  when it came to injuries during his press conference, saying he would have to give players time to recover for the game.

He doesn’t look like a manager who will play a player who is not fully fit so there is a chance for someone who hasn’t played often to come into the starting team.

One thing is certain though, regardless of the team that is put up, Wilfried Zaha who is on 13 goals for the season so far will be there trying to add to his impressive numbers.

Michael Olise are two different players but give a lot to the team, Olise has guile while Ayew has depth and compactness so there is certainly a decision to be made there.

Palace lost the home fixture in what was only Steven Gerrard’s second game in charge, they would want to at least get revenge for that defeat at Selhurst.

So with everything on stage, here is the team, we expect Vieira to put up.
