Crystal Palace battle Everton and Brighton for Burnley prospect with Middlesbrough man also eyed

Crystal Palace are being linked with Burnley defender Jack McEvily and Middlesbrough wing-back Isaiah Jones. The Eagles are believed to be keen on landing the Championship pair this summer.

Roy Hodgson’s side are currently looking to secure their Premier League status for next season. They boosted their hopes of survival over the weekend with their 2-1 win over Leicester City at Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace are said to be interested in luring highly-rated McEvily to London according to a report by Football Insider. The 16-year-old is being tipped for a bright future in the game and has already played for Burnley’s U21s side.

Scottish Premiership giants Celtic and Rangers have also been mentioned as potential suitors. Premier League teams such as Newcastle United, Manchester United, Everton and Brighton and Hove Albion are also potential destinations for the youngster.

The Eagles are also reportedly after Middlesbrough’s Jones. The Londoner is facing an uncertain future at the Riverside Stadium under Michael Carrick and could be seen as someone to provide more competition and depth to the squad for next term.

Football League World claim Crystal Palace are admirers of the 23-year-old along with West Ham and AFC Bournemouth. Football League outfits like Millwall, Norwich City, and Sunderland are also in the frame.
